We have no plans of adding any puppies/dogs to our program in 2019 .. Sorry.
When we started thinking about guardian homes we had no idea how it would change our lives. So many people ask me what it is and how it works. It's pretty simple, if we feel you have the love and devotion to care for one of our adult dogs or raise one of our puppies then we offer you a dog/puppy. We pay the vet care and dog food for all dogs that are in the program. The dog will be spending time away from you to come here to have her puppies. You're welcome to visit :). If you are interested in a male, the dog will come here for 5-6 days at a time when he is needed for "work". We also thank our families with a nice bonus once the litter goes home (for female dogs only). We consider you part of us and we can absolutely not thank our guardian homes enough for the joy they bring into our world and our dog's worlds!! If you are interested in our program and in one of the dogs/puppies listed below then please fill out the form. We only work off the forms. If you do not hear back from me within 3 days of filling out the form then please contact me. ( Stephanie) (419) 654 4534.
Guardian home families enjoy the puppies and visiting their dog at the zoo :)

There is nothing more important to us than our dogs' quality of life. With that being said, we had to make a decision on how to keep our waiting list to a minimum without cheating our dogs and puppies. We continued to grow and could not be more honored to have so many wonderful families wanting our babies and be willing to wait for them. We had two choices, buy a farm and throw our dogs in kennels or find homes for them where they are treated the way every animal deserves to be treated. We obviously decided to go with the guardian homes (the only humane thing we would ever consider) and give our girls an amazing life.
Some of our dogs don't care to play too much with the other dogs and would much rather spend their days getting loved on by humans (rather than licked on by dogs :-) These are the girls we felt were the best fit for a guardian home. This was not an easy decision for me, as my dogs sleep in my bed and lay on my couch while we watch a movie. However, after I see how happy, content and loved my girls are in other homes it was truly a blessing in disguise. My dogs are in amazing homes getting so much one on one attention AND I have met so many friends that are a huge asset to the Newfypoo Zoo.
Each dog and their guardian family has their own story. Each story is told by them. I stay in contact with my guardian homes regularly. Yes, we really do have the best families ever working with us ! The website will still be managed by me as it is my pride and joy. However, I love the helping hands that come in and do my spell check for me :) Lyn is not a guardian home. However, she is a true blessing that helps me out in so many ways, including managing our Facebook page !!
Most of our "Zoo Girls" will have their babies here at the zoo and the website will be maintained the same as with all our litters. We do have one family (Nikki who has Tempy and Freya) that will be raising the puppies in their guardian home. I will be adding/visiting and sharing all of the information regarding the puppies that are being raised in a guardian home to the website, as I do with every other litter. I will also be responding to emails/sales regarding all of our puppies, including the ones in our guardian homes. As you may notice, I am a bit protective of my business as Kris and I are very proud of our dogs, puppies and the way we run things. We didn't become the Newfypoo Zoo over night. It took a couple years of trial and error to build what we feel is a perfect place to call our Zoo.
